Delphia Consulting, LLC Develops New Application for City of Las Vegas WebsiteFebruary 23, 2007 Columbus, OH – February 23, 2007 – Delphia Consulting, LLC has designed and developed a new software application that is helping the city of Las Vegas stay in the limelight with its award-winning web site. The new online election research function is featured in Government Technology magazine. Joe Rotella, CTO of Delphia Consulting, and his team of usability experts took the lead in creating the concept and design for the city’s site, which received an award in the 2006 “Best of the Web” Digital Government program. But Delphia’s involvement didn’t stop at the design stage. They provided a suite of services including workshops, testing, design and development for the site, leading up to its launch in 2005 and still ongoing with enhancements such as the new Historical Election Information feature. “This provides an important service for our constituents, especially during the election cycle,” said acting City Clerk Beverly Bridges. “The City Clerk’s Office spends a lot of time providing historical information like this over the phone and in person. This increases efficiency for not only our staff, but the public as well.” “This new function provides yet another way that the city provides online services 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Information Technologies Director Joseph Marcella. “This new service joins a growing list of online services that we provide to our citizens including online bill payment, class registration and citizen complaint submissions.” About Delphia Consulting, LLC |
