Senior Developer
Location
Office environment in Columbus, Ohio. Minimum overnight travel will be required.
Description
Exciting opportunity to join Delphia Consulting as a full-time Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development of new client interfaces.
Principal Responsibilities
- Reviewing and analyzing software specifications and architecture documents
- Estimating and sizing development efforts
- Reviewing and analyzing code (VB,Net,SQL)
- Interacting with client staff to identify needs
- Design and execute test strategies to insure correct function of basic customizations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Desired
- Minimum 5 years experience in commercial software development
- 5 years experience developing applications with SQL Server back end
- 3 yrs experience building web based user interfaces
- Strong object orientated design and programming skills in VB.Net
- Expertise in building web based user interfaces using JavaScript/HTML/CSS/AJAX/FLEX
- .Net Framework 2.0 or higher
- Microsoft development tools including Visual Studio.Net 2005 and Visual Source
- N-Tier Software Design Patterns Structures, API’s
- XML , XSD, Web Services, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP)
- Architectural models and best practices and Relational Database Design
