Government

City of Las Vegas, Nevada

Las Vegas is the fastest growing city in the nation with approximately 5 to 8 thousand new residents coming in every month.

What They Needed

The City of Las Vegas imagined a web presence that reflected the image of the city while being easy to use, easy to maintain, and providing great online services.

How We Helped

Following a User-Centered design approach Delphia Consulting delivered a new Web site and now...

• Site users don’t have to know – or care – which department handles building permits, which department reports on roadwork, and so on. All content and applications are provided where the users can find them.
• Users can still see the structure and elements of their government. They just don’t have to do it every time they want to make a request, pay a bill, or browse the news and events of interest – to them.
• The City of Las Vegas has a 508 compliant Web site that ensures users with special needs aren’t left out of the picture, or shunted off to another site.
• With strong branding treatment the site speaks for itself with one, clean, professional voice

Nonprofit Organizations

Human Resource Association of Central Ohio (HRACO)

HRACO is an organization of 1500 Human Resources professionals.

What They Needed

HRACO was unhappy with their current site, and wanted something better – so they came to us. They wanted a site that reflected the professional nature of the organization. One that attracted new members while providing service to existing members. They wanted to automate processes currently done with paper forms to save time and money (like registering to attend a workshop or updating member directory information).

How We Helped

We worked with them to understand their needs and goals, and delivered a new site that offers just some of the following:

• An engaging site that attracts new members while providing online support to their existing membership
• Members have access to “member-only” content, can contribute files to a library of resources, register for events, view their registration history, update their profile, and search the membership directory.
• Content contributors use a web-based interface to submit news articles, events, and polls which are approved and published. The response has been fantastic!
