Jean is very family oriented. She is one of those rare people whose family gatherings bring together four generations. She splits free time between caring for her mother and watching her three grandchildren.
Jean maintains a garden that serves as both a sanctuary and a classroom. The well-being of the environment is of great importance to her. She uses time in the garden to teach her grandchildren about the relationship between humankind and earth’s environment. Jean also takes great pleasure in passing her love of reading on to the grandchildren.
