Mark Shorter

An enthusiastic citizen, Mark takes pride in his community and volunteers his service at the Clintonville Resource Center, community gardens, and his church. He uses his time at community gardens to bond with his children while teaching them the importance of selflessness.

Aside from his family, Mark’s number one passion is art. In the evenings, his angle grinder spews sheets of hot glowing metal debris that flicker out his studio windows. Neighbors may think Mark is running a discotheque and they would not be far off base. Nine Inch Nails, Orbital, or The Clash pump from the stereo as Mark weaves and dances around his latest sculpture.
