Question: What’s better than a new release of Sage HRMS HR Actions packed with enhancements that increase functionality and make it easier to use? Answer: One that, when installed, includes new releases of popular plug-ins for HR actions: Sage HRMS HR Actions Dynamic Forms Checklist (DFC), Sage HRMS HR Actions I-9 (I-9), and Sage HRMS HR Actions W-4 (W-4)!
We’re excited about these new Version 10.7.7 releases and think you will be, too. Take a look at the highlights!
Enhanced defaults for date fields Date fields can now be set to the value of another date field on the form plus or minus a set number of days. For example, in the case of a 90 day review, the Next Performance Review can be set to the hire date plus 90 days.
Enhanced performance appraisal employee sign-off Final Approver functionality on Form Builder Step 8 can be limited to “Approve Only.” This removes “Reject,” “Return to Initiator,” and “Return to Prior Approver,” leaving only the ability to “Submit” the action.
Improved how newly added codes in HRMS are handled Added an “Auto-Add” checkbox on Edit Codes page to control whether or not new codes added to HRMS should be marked as Active and available to the user. Note: This enhancement does not extend to field dependencies.
Enhancement to prevent initiation of a New Hire action for an existing SSN/SIN Added the ability to prevent a New Hire action from being initiated if a person with the same SSN/SIN exists within the employer in HRMS.
Save to HRMS based on Effective Date Provides flexibility to hide the Save to HRMS date field and have it automatically set to the Effective Date on the form.
Support for Sage HRMS 2018 Q2 Quarterly Update The Primary and Secondary Supervisor labels have been changed to match updates included in the Q2 Quarterly Update. Prior supported versions of HR Actions will continue to work after applying the Q2 update.

Enhanced Search for Manager and HR Admin Reporting Managers and HR Admins now have a significantly enhanced search capability to enable real-time visibility on the status of Actions within Employee and Manager Checklists.
What’s New In Sage HRMS HR Actions I-9 & W-4 v10.7.7

Migrating from an earlier version of
If you own DFC, I-9, and W-4 or any combination of them, you will need to migrate those modules from earlier versions to version 10.7.7. Upgrading HR Actions does not break previous versions of DFC, I-9, or W-4. They will continue to work after the upgrade. But you will need to migrate to take advantage of the enhanced 10.7.7 versions.
The document Sage HRMS HR Actions Migration Checklist for DFC, W-4, and I-9 v 10.7.7 along with guides for each product should provide enough information to successfully migrate from the older versions to the new ones. You can find them all on our Software Manuals page.
