Out of 47 forms provided in Sage HRMS HR Actions W-4, 28 of them contain significant changes. Here are a couple of examples:
These states use Federal W-4 form that has been modified to set both the state and federal withholding values: Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, and Vermont
These states have had material changes to their form: Arkansas, Minnesota, Missouri
These and other current changes are included in this newest release.
New manual release
The new manual provides lists of the recommended course of action by state for 2017 state forms and local forms, indicating which states should contact Delphia for an updated script. You can read the new manual here or access it on our Software Manuals page.
Sage HRMS HR Actions I-9
New Form I-9 a must
Starting January 22, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) stopped accepting older versions of Form I-9 and accepts only version 11/14/2016 N. Some of the changes made to the form include the following updates for the electronic version:
Basic field validation
Interactive help text on the form and hover text
Increased number of acceptable documents in Section 2
