Access to Personal Information

Employees can access personal data including skills, events, current job, employment history, and performance reviews. With Sage ESS employees can update personal information, emergency contacts, education, and medical conditions.

Time-off Management

Employees can manage time off with access to time-off balances, attendance plans, and absence transactions. Employees can request time off and edit or delete time-off requests.


Benefits Information

Employees can view personal benefits information including dependents, insurance benefits, savings benefits, beneficiaries, employee premium costs, and employer contribution costs with Sage ESS.

Payroll Information

Employees can access payroll information, including paycheck details, pay histories, payroll deductions, tax deductions [W-4], and W-2 using Sage ESS. They can view and print paystubs and authorize Form W-4 changes with digital signatures.


Manager Features

Managers can view personnel and job information of their direct reports, view and post notes, access birthday lists, attendance, and review and approve time-off requests.

Supervisor Features

Supervisors can view and approve time-off requests without viewing other sensitive employee information.

Data within Sage Employee Self Service is accessed via a secure HTMLS page using 127 bit SSL certificates. Very much like online banking, security questions and password parameters can also be managed for user accounts.

Single sign-on for ESS is setup and controlled through the ESS System Maintenance interface. It requires the Domain name and a user name with password that has access to read Active Directory. It does not require Sage HRMS Active Directory Conduit.
