Joint-Employer Final Rule
Clarifies definition
On February 26, 2020, the National Labor Relations Board issued its final rule on determining joint-employer status under the National Labor Relations Act. The rule goes into effect on April 27, 2020. It provides definitions of terms that will help employers evaluate their status as joint employers.
