What’s in the works
Since April we’ve been hard at work on a major new release of Sage HRMS HR Actions. This “next generation” version introduces a new framework that will provide access to multiple solutions within one application. Administrators will be able to easily navigate between Sage HRMS HR Actions Self Service and Sage HRMS HR Actions Admin under the same login and within the same window/tab. Users will also have direct access to HR Analytics for Sage HRMS, our new reporting and analytics solutions (see below for more details.)
Other new features include the option to limit employee access to completed forms and the ability to define a universal From Name and From Email for all system generated emails. Sage HRMS HR Actions will also support Active Directory Integration, allowing users to login with their network credentials. We’ve cleaned up a few pesky issues with HTML displaying in text fields and with the spell checker.
We’re currently estimating this release to be available before all the leaves fall from the trees!
System Requirements
As endorsed solution coupled with Sage HRMS, the supported system requirements for HR Actions mirror those outlined in Sage’s System Recommendations: Sage HRMS 2017 and Sage ESS 2017. Starting with v10.7.16 support for Sage HRMS HR Actions will no longer extend to Windows Server 2008 or Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

Sync Sage HRMS and Benefit Portal
Streamline benefit data transfer
Open enrollment season is upon us. If you are one of the many organizations that have outsourced benefits to a third-party, we have a product that will eliminate duplicate manual data entry into both Sage HRMS and the third-party website during the busy enrollment period and all year long. Benefit Portal Interface for Sage HRMS (BPI) enables both systems to “talk” to one another, so “done in one” means “done in both.” Read more about it in The Benefits Challenge and see how BPI streamlines data transfer between Sage HRMS and any third-party benefit portal.
