Distributed Information Service for Sage HRMS

Sage HRMS Active Directory Conduit does not insert a new employee into Active Directory. IT will continue to create new Active Directory Accounts as they do today.

Sage HRMS Active Directory Conduit will inactivate the employee’s account in Active Directory when the employee’s status changes to Terminated in Sage HRMS.

Yes, but there is more effort required. Sage HRMS Active Directory Conduit runs as a Windows service that calls a SQL stored procedure typically located in the Sage HRMS database. If using Sage Abra Suite, a database will need to be created within an instance of SQL server that will be set up using SQL Server Management Studio as a linked server to the Visual FoxPro data folder of Sage Abra Suite.

This is a one-way link from Sage HRMS to Active Directory. Changes made in Active Directory will not impact Sage HRMS.

Active Directory Conduit needs a trusted connection to the domain controller (Active Directory Server) and to the SQL server where the Sage HRMS database is stored.
