What We Do
- Verify you’re using a supported version of HRMS (Sage HRMS 2017 (version 10.703708 – 2018 Q3 SR1 or later)
- Backup the Sage HRMS HR Actions database
- Document the settings in the HR Configuration tool and Sage HRMS HR Actions scheduler service
- Download the latest version of Sage HRMS HR Actions
- Uninstall the old version of Sage HRMS HR Actions
- Install any necessary prerequisites (Microsoft IIS URL Rewrite 2.1, Microsoft .Net Core 2.2.8, .Net Framework 4.8)
- Download and install the latest version of Sage HRMS HR Actions
- Upgrade your data
If there are any errors, we address them, review your log files, run tests, and you’re live on the latest version!
What You Need To Do
Simply schedule a mutually convenient time for your IT resource and us to complete the upgrade. Then provide access to your web server and SQL Server (we use GotoAssist) and be ready to enter the SQL Server sa password and login/password used by the HR Actions Application Pool. That’s it!
How Long Does It Take
Once we start, the process takes about 2 hours; an hour for the upgrade and an hour for us to review your log files. You can usually start using your system again after 1 hour, so you can be working as we review your log files. Anything else we need to do we can usually do “behind the scenes.”
