Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday work, offering faster answers, cleaner summaries, and more efficient workflows. But speed and polish don’t always equal accuracy or insight.

This 60-minute seminar focuses on the role of human judgment in an AI-assisted workplace. As AI tools become more embedded in performance management, feedback, and decision-making, the need for clarity, critical thinking, and accountability becomes even more important.

Joe Rotella, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPBA will examine how managers and HR professionals can evaluate AI-generated content, ask better questions, and ensure that outputs reflect real conditions rather than surface-level patterns. The seminar will also explore where AI can support decision-making and where human oversight must remain central. Gain a clearer understanding of how to use AI in a way that strengthens performance conversations, reinforces expectations, and supports fair and informed decisions across the organization.

This program is pre-approved for 1 PDC for the SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® and 1 recertification credit hour for the PHR® or SPHR®. A certificate of completion will be provided to all attendees.
