The latest release of Sage HRMS HR Actions W-4, the plugin that streamlines completion of Federal and State W-4 forms, includes an exciting update for users of Sage 300 CRE Payroll. Our release documentation also includes support for states that have made changes in their 2016 forms, which we’ve listed below.
Support for Sage 300 CRE Payroll
If you’re not already familiar, pass thru of data from the Form W-4 and state withholding forms, if applicable, was previously supported for the following payrolls:
- Sage HRMS US Payroll
- Sage Abra Suite Payroll
- Sage 300 Payroll (requires Sage HRMS HR Actions version 10.5.9 or later)
- ADP if using Sage HRMS Xport ADP
- Paychex if using Sage HRMS Xport Paychex
- CompuPay Payload
Release 10.6.2, however, now enables clients who use Sage CRE Payroll with the BAS link to utilize the Federal W-4 form in Sage HRMS HR Actions to populate custom fields defined in Sage HRMS. Once that is complete, the data can be transferred from the custom details to corresponding fields in Sage 300 Payroll using BAS HR Export. Currently, only the Federal W-4 is supported for Sage 300 CRE.
2016 State Form Changes
This year over 30 states have made changes in their 2016 W-4 forms. Is yours one of them? If you haven’t checked, you’ll want to take a look at the chart included in this latest release and find out. Changes to state forms require an updated installation script available from Delphia.
