Enhancements
- Auditor can now edit Manager and Employee Comments on appraisal questions

Issue Resolved
- Corrected issue that causing 431 or 400 errors when launching HR Actions
- Corrected issue with HR Admin menu collapsing and highlight Home when user is on Action Status pages
- Corrected errors encountered when launching HR Actions Self Service within Sage ESS
- Corrected error encountered during database refresh process when HR Actions database was named something other than “HRActions”
- Expanded field length to 9 characters for Starting Employee ID
- Corrected issue that resulted in “No Codes Available” on New Hire forms after selecting a different employer
- Improved performance of Configurator and preserved the SMTP Server IP Address when upgrading
- Corrected issue with Printing an Action in Chrome
New Software Packages & Configurations
New Required Packages
Sage HRMS HR Actions v10.7.17 requires the following server software and packages
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2
- IIS URL Rewrite 2.1 (https://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite)
- .NET Core 2.2.5 Windows Hosting Bundle (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-core/thank-you/runtime-aspnetcore-2.2.5-windows-hosting-bundle-installer)
New License String
You must request a new License String when upgrading from v10.7.15 or below
New Configurations
The UserID you are running the HRActionsAppPool under must be added to SQL. that UserID must be given db_datareader and db_datawriter rights to the HR Actions Datbase
Upgrade Information
We recommend that either a certified Sage HRMS HR Actions Consultant or a member of the HR Actions Professional Services Team installs the program for you. You will need the following to install the program and to identify the new features to Sage HRMS HR Actions 10.7.17:

New License String
You will be required to request a new License String as part of the installation/setup process. A new License String can be requested via the HR Actions Configurator.
IMPORTANT – Upgrading from v10.7.15 and below!
If you have Sage HRMS US Payroll and Sage HRMS HR Actions W-4
Save all 2019 W-4 Form Actions to HRMS before you apply the Sage HRMS Q4 update.
If you have already applied the Q4 update, please manually update payroll and mark these Federal W-4 actions as Completed.
The order of installing upgrades matters. The following upgrades should be performed before upgrading Sage HRMS HR Actions:
- Sage HRMS
- Sage HRMS Payroll activation
- Sage Employee Self Service
If you are upgrading from version 10.7.6 or prior, follow the steps outlined in the Checklist for Sage HRMS HR Actions Upgrade from 10.7.6 or Prior guide.
Upgrade Version path
The 2017 (10.7.x) version supports upgrades from 10.2.11 and later. Before applying this update, please upgrade to 10.2.11 if your production version of HR Actions is an earlier version. The 10.7.x update will preserve ALL actions created in previous versions, including Active, Completed, Pending, or Rejected Actions as well as any Saved or Incomplete Actions.

- Sage HRMS 2017 (version 10.703708 – 2018 Q3 SR1 or later)
