Update: Sage Support for EEO-1 Component 2 Reporting
Sage update
As mentioned in an earlier post, Sage ensured their customers that they would be able to file their EEO-1 Component 2 on time. According to a recent update, Sage has already provided the necessary template for their HR only clients and will release an update in September that will address the filing requirements for their clients using both HR and Payroll.
Sage HR ONLY clients
For those Sage Abra Suite 9.2 and Sage HRMS 2017 customers with only HR implemented and using another Payroll product, a .cvs Import Template is already available. The Import Template and the Template Instructions can be found within Sage Knowledgebase Article ID 97142.
Sage instructs you to contact your payroll provider and ensure the data required for the EEO-1 Component 2 report can be exported from the payroll product for 2017 and 2018. Also, you should inform your payroll provider that Sage has provided a template for the import of the payroll data, meeting the government final efiling requirements.
Sage HR AND Payroll clients
For all Sage HRMS and Sage Abra Suite clients using both HR and Payroll (supported versions only), an update will be released on 9.06.2019 that will include all of the new EEO-1 changes.
