IRS Extended Deadline for Forms 1095 Distribution

Once again the IRS has extended the deadline for employers and other coverage providers to furnish the 2019 IRS Forms 1095-B and 1095-C to their employees. The notice did not change the filing date for that form. Update: EEOC Extends Deadline for EEO-1 Component 2 Reporting

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has extended the deadline for employers to file their EEO-1 Component 2 pay data. Originally, last Monday, September 30, 2019, was the final day for filing. However, according a September 27, 2019 EEOC news release, that deadline is no longer in effect. EEO-1 Component 2 Updates: Sage HRMS/Abra Suite and Sage HRMS HR Actions

As expected, on September 6, Sage announced their update for all Sage HRMS and Sage Abra Suite customers who use software for both Human Resources and for Payroll, which includes the new EEO-1 Component 2 changes. Delphia’s new release, Sage HRMS HR Actions Version 10.7.14, ensures your software compatibility with Sage’s updates to Sage HRMS/Sage Abra Suite. Form I-9 Expires August 31. Can You Still Use It?

You have likely noticed the expiration date on the top of the USCIS Form I-9 that indicates the current version expires at the end of this month. The Department of Homeland Security has not issued a new version but is expected to extend the current version in its present form. Until they release information about an extension or new version, you can still use the current one. Update: Sage Support for EEO-1 Component 2 Reporting

Sage has released an update on the compliance functionality for EEO-1 Component 2 reporting requirements. A .csv Import Template with Instructions is now available for Sage Abra/Sage HRMS HR only clients. An update is coming soon that will enable Sage Abra/Sage HRMS clients using both HR and Payroll to complete their filings.
